Selling your home with Kings Hill Properties
ABOUT KINGS HILL:
Kings Hill is a modern, concept village in the Kent countryside which entwines work, play and living areas within attractive, landscaped gardens and woodland areas. The village has protected areas of parkland, woods, footpaths and bridleways, which are frequented by Kings Hill joggers, cyclists and dog walkers. Amongst the greenery lies a wide variety of stylish homes, ranging from chic apartments to substantial six bedroom houses, the most prestigious of which overlook the golf course. Award-winning housing developers have contributed to this contemporary village and there is a wealth of choice for the discerning homebuyer.
The Management team at Kings Hill provides landscaping, maintenance and 24 hour security services for the local residents, which means that the area is safe, clean and consistently maintained to a high standard.
This American-style of "concept living" has proven very popular and it engenders a strong sense of community amongst the local residents. The majority of our clients selling a house on Kings Hill are simply up or down sizing to another property in the same village! It appears to be very rare that a Kings Hill resident chooses to move away from the area.
RECREATION & EDUCATION:
As far as sports facilities go, the area is renowned for its 18-hole PGA championship golf course, which has a practice area, full length driving range, putting green and pavilion-style clubhouse.
When not cycling or jogging around the village, Kings Hill residents can enjoy regular yoga, pilates, badminton, martial arts and aerobics classes which take place at the Community Centre, and there are a number of local sports teams for enthusiasts to join. The thriving community also boasts a David Lloyd gym within the village complex. Numerous other sports facilities are a short drive from the village, such as the dry ski slope in Chatham and the ice skating rink in Gillingham.
For those who prefer their pastimes to be less physically demanding, a variety of other interests are catered for within the village. The Community Centre runs art, bridge and chess classes, and if you are seeking an academic challenge why not learn Spanish, interior design or take a computer course? A library van visits the area once a week, for local bookworms. Kings Hill also has a very active Parish Council.
For the younger residents, Kings Hill has its own tiddlers and toddlers group, a pre-school nursery, two primary schools (for details see
and
) and a youth club. There are local scouts and girl guides groups and both Kings Hill schools run an array of after-school clubs and activities. The village also has a popular children's play area, green and other recreational facilities.
Local areas of interest include the beautiful towns of West Malling
and Royal Tunbridge Wells, the historic Dockyard at Chatham,
Rochester's Castle, Cathedral and the county Town of Maidstone, to
name a few tourist attractions within a 10-30 minute drive. However,
given the amenities which Kings Hill has to offer, you may choose to
stay closer to home and sample the restaurants, cafes or Spitfire pub.
Liberty Square is the hub of the village, where the large supermarket,
shops and eateries can be found. There is a choice of cuisine: Thai,
Indian and Chinese, to suit your mood. Liberty Square also has a
beautician, hairdresser, pharmacy and it is where our office is based.
